What Fitform does with your information

Last updated October 3, 2026

Fitform is a clothing recommendation app. This page explains, plainly, what information it handles, why, and what it deliberately does not do.

What's collected

When you use Fitform's matching flow — in the app or on this website — the following is sent to Fitform's own backend so it can search for and rank clothing matches:

DataWhy
Height, weight, chest, waist, inseamMatched against listing sizes to filter and confirm fit.
Body shape, skin undertone, depthUsed to favor cuts and colors likely to suit you.
Style preference and garment categoriesUsed to rank and filter what's searched for.

That information is sent as part of each request to api.usefitform.com, which uses it to query eBay's catalog and return matching results. It is not tied to an account, a name, or an email address — Fitform doesn't have user accounts.

Not stored. As of this version, Fitform's backend does not save your measurements or preferences anywhere after a request completes — each search is handled and discarded. If that changes in a future version (for example, to let you save a profile), this page will say so before it ships.

What's never done

Third parties involved

Fitform's backend queries eBay's Browse API to find real, live listings. Your measurements and preferences are used server-side to filter and rank what eBay returns — eBay does not receive your personal measurements as part of that process, only generic search terms (e.g. "mens jeans"). When you tap through to view or buy an item, that happens on eBay's own site or app, governed by eBay's own privacy policy from that point on.
